The outcome of Ark’s Community Employment service is to help individuals find and maintain a job that meets personal and career goals. Community Employment services offer a variety of supports to assist in finding and maintaining a job in a competitive, integrated work setting for which a participant is compensated at or above the minimum wage.

Community Employment services focus on individualized strengths, needs, and interests, and are designed to meet the specific needs of the employee and employer relationship. Community Employment support through Ark can be combined with the goals of our Day Services and Residential Supports to assist a person in developing and increasing employability skills but can also be a stand-alone service.
