The Employee of the Month for May is Cavin Hall who works in Ark’s Maintenance Department.
Although Cavin does not work in a direct support capacity, he has taken the time to develop valuing and friendly relationships with many clients and staff throughout the organization. Cavin always takes the time to listen to people and talk with them in a fun and kind manner. His interactions with fellow employees and Ark clients are a reflection of his value for the people within the organization.
Cavin takes all requests of his time in stride and goes out of his way to support and assist staff and clients in any way that he can. Cavin is always respectful of people’s property and privacy when he is in their homes. Cavin also has covered shifts in the residential department. Cavin is always willing to go the extra distance when things come up unexpectedly; he always takes the time to listen to people’s requests and works with them to find solutions.
Cavin worked hard to facilitate opportunities for staff and clients to play softball together the past summer. He does his best to make sure that people are always included and that they are active participants in the things that he does with them.
